So my crazzy ass EX deleted a ton of my pictures and from old friends and girls, someone recently told me even though she cleared the recycle bin you can always get them back..?

You could probably pay someone to do it. But, as a normal user, I don't think it's really possible. Look up maybe data recovery methods. I know you can do it for failed hard drives, but not sure about the deleted side of it.

You could also do a system restore and reset your computer to a previous date. I forget the exact procedure but its very simple. I think if you go the the control panel and click Help and Support you should be able to find out how.

When you delete something from the recycle bin all it's really doing is telling the computer that those areas of the hard drive are now available as free space. It doesn't erase the data.

You need a data recovery tool like Spinrite to get your pics back before they get overwritten.

So that's why my hard drive shows 6 gigs of space remaining but it doesn't let me do certain things.

you should be able to do a search for files and folders, make sure that you searched for archived content as well,....in the advanced mode, you can choose to only search for pictures,...when it scans, it should bring up stuff that you never even knew you saved/downloaded
