Default Cancer treatment

Has anyone heard of Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski, M.D. Ph.D. located in Houston and the anti-cancer treatment medicine called "antineoplaston therapy"?
Has anyone on this forum received antineoplaston therapy or have first hand experience with someone that has? Any response opinion or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Here is a link to his web page.
Some people seem to be real skeptical while others are very hopeful; however, I have yet to meet anyone that has actually received antineoplaston therapy. If you know anything about this Dr. or this therapy please tell me what you know.

I know this seems small compared to the human experience of cancer, but maybe this will help. My dog was diagnosed nearly 2 years ago with terminal mast cell cancer, a cancer that doesnt' respond to chemo and radiation and usually kills in less than 6 months unless they cut every bit of the tumor out (still no guarantee). My dog's is in her skin, everywhere, so there was no hope of cutting hers out.

My vet in Florida practices homeopathic as well as western medicine, and he started her on this juice called Noni. This is a natural remedy (no different than any other fruit juice in terms of interference with western medicines) that has had success in treating pain, allergies, and cancer in humans. A friend of mine who was severely allergic to raw veggies could eat them without a problem while on this stuff!

It's expensive and tastes awful (like something fermented, some people like it, others hate it), but my dog is beating the odds every day. She's happy, tumor-free for the moment, and healthier than my other, ailment-free dog. In searching for an appropriate vet here in Texas, every vet I told her medical history to wanted to see the biopsy report, and they all read it and looked at her in disbelief. My previous vet tells me that the cancer will not stay at bay forever and will eventually overcome the effects of this juice, but every day that I buy with this stuff is worth a lot to me.

If you're interested in trying this, it can't hurt anything other than your taste buds to try. It's sold through distributorship, so if you're interested, email or PM me and I'll either get an order for you or set you up to get it yourself.

My prayers go out to both of your families...

I do not know of anyone that has tried antineoplaston therapy (hopefully someone here does and they have good things to say about it).
My mom has stage three ovarian cancer. Her doctor originally used chemo (Taxol and Carboplatin) and that worked for about two years. She has also gone to a homeopathic cancer treatment therapy center in Colorado where she did stuff like what Sondra mentioned, but her count rose drastically while she went to it. She has also tried the juice that Sondra mentioned (however, she only sampled one bottle of it). She is suffering. The latest chemo (Doxal) is not helping, and if there is a better treatment I want to find it.

My father died of pancreatic adenocarcinoma on November 15th 1994. Pancreatic and ovarian cancer are almost universally fatal mostly because they are often discovered only after they are far advanced. My sympathies go out to both of your families but I can tell you from personal experience (I am a doctor) that there are many unscrupulous (sp) individuals and groups out there that will be more than willing to present you with false hope in one outstretched hand while they pick your pocket with the other.

Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.
