Default Car lifts

I've been looking at car lifts. Not for working on a car but for storage. There are several kinds out there, Back-Yard Buddy, EZ Lift, etc. I have only have a 2 car garage but have 10' of height and have thought about using the height for storage of the soon-to-be 3rd vehicle. Anyone use these??

i think those lifts take up width space. you may be able to stack 2 cars on top of each other, but you'll proably lose your ability to park 2 cars side by side, meaning, you'll probably still be able to only park 2 cars max in that garage.

Where do you live? There is a guy by the name ANYTIME on NSXprime who gets the NSX guys a good deal on Bendbek(sp?) lifts. You can do a search under his name.

Thanks for the feedback, I've seen the 4-post Superlifts at some car shows. I like the concept, just don't know how well they really work day in and day out. Most seem to cost $3k-$4k, maybe a somewhat steep price to keep a third car out of the weather.

You also need a 12' ceiling to make them work well. When you lose 2' of ceiling your clearances get awfully tight.
