Default car pool question for those of you who lives in LA, CA....

Hi, guys:

I've been on this forum for a while. I just picked up my '02 black/black this weekend. I'm feeling the joy watching my status turned from 'Enthusiast' to finally 'owner'. Now I have a car pool question for those of you who lived around the Los Angeles area....

It requires 3 people to get on the car pool lane during the rush hour, and 2 people at all time on FWY 10. My question is, with a 2 seater like the S2000, can I get on the car pool lane with 2 people during the rush hour? Will I get pull over for that?

Please help..........

Thank you.

Up here at least, there is a small sign below the 3-person car pool signs that indicates that two-seaters with wto people are OK. I suspect it's the same down there.

Not true. only ZEV's (Electric and I believe CNG-powered vehicles) qualify for the HOV sticker. The SULEV hybrid's don't qualify.
