I have no idea whats going on with this series.

I did like CART, check I used to LOVE watching CART.

Decisions made recently have turned me off to it big time:

1) Switching to crappy IRL engine specs, basically a low tech, low dollar platform.
2) In switching, alienating long-term backers Ford and Honda.
3) Poor management of events and venues.
4) Crappy new TV contract where they PAY CBS for airtime.
5) Poor management decisions have cost CART quality sponsors, and with sponsors the series can't survive.


I seriously doubt I will watch much next year, and I know I wont watch at all after. CART is becoming a waste of time, and its losing its entertainment factor.

 

Look at my last post today on the Report on Fontana thread, and you'll see what a p*ss poor job they did of running the Fontana race and why they (1) called the race early -- unnecessarily and (2) were conserving fuel at the end, rather than running flat out -- unnecessarily.
