Then there's the added insult to her that the whole world found out about it and has been talking about it since last summer. He and any other celebrity should realize that one consequence of being a cheating SOB is that you might find yourself in trouble like this.

As far as the wife goes, adultery is a pretty good reason to divorce him. He's not an innocent wealthy man being fleeced by some scheming woman. He's an idiot. And if he didn't do a pre-nup, then he's an extraordinary idiot.

I feel worst for the victim. First she is assaulted by Kobe. Then a team of high priced lawyers and the national media and her name dragged through the mud. Intimidated so badly that she is afraid to testify and now the case is dissmissed WITH PREDJUDICE so she cant change her mind and and press charges, to a great extent because the judges own idiot staff released her name to the press.

I would have to agree. These players are handed the world and everything in it on a silver platter and they have this dilusional view of reality where they feel that standard society rules to not apply to them.
