I voted "I like both cats and dogs equally." I had always been a dog person until I found a white kitten roaming outside my house. I brought it in and it's awesome. This is the first cat I have ever owned but it's not gonna be the last.

My Dog, Gypsy.

My Kitten, Pepita.

When we got our kitten - a Pixie Bob - we went to a few cat shows to see them, and got a look at some of the exotic breeds out there. Savannahs were in abundance, as were Bengals, and a relatively new breed: Toygers. (As in "toy tiger"; they're trying to get a cat that looks like a tiger but is the size of a domecticated house cat.) The Savannahs, the Bengals, the Toygers, the Pixie Bobs, and the Maine Coons were all very impressive-looking cats. Some of the others were, frankly, ugly as sin.

Please, cats, hands down. I always chuckle at my neighbors out in the freezing cold at the crack of dawn waiting for their dog to crap.

Me, I just open the sliding door.

Here's a pic of my dog and my cat! I love dogs and cats, but I find cat's are more independent and not so needy like my dog I have to schedule my life around my dog so I don't leave him alone at home too long....since he can't seem to eat without me home. So cats are great if you have a busy life!

just my opinion, but i like cats more than dogs because they are less dependant in my experiences to their owners than dogs. dogs are like give me attention give me attention, where as a cat has more attitude, if they are in a pissed off mood, they want to be left alone. Cats seem more like people to me than dogs....but again my opinion

Voted I like dogs but perfer cats. Cats suit our life style. Read long hours at work everyday. Cats are cool and low maintenance.

Dufus A stray we took in six years ago as a kitten.

Dufus & Tigger Tigger was abandoned in a park nearby. He's lived with us four years.

Tigger today.

Munchkin Another neighborhood stray we took in two years ago.

What you would see in our kitchen every morning.

All good guys.

And they have a secure, safe home.
