I think it's fake.

1. In the first picture the old woman seems like looking at the man's direction.

2. I think if the woman is going fast, the man-in-the-air should be atleast behind the line where he was walking along, instead of ahead of the line...But in the second picture it seems the man was well out of the line ahead...which doesn't really makes sense to me, unless the car was going slow, but then the man wouldn't fly into the mid-air.

3. The car doesn't seem to have any damages at all, even though it's a Benz.

If these are real pictures, I hope the man's ok after this...

I reckon the car has hit the guy at leg level and as it's carried him forward his legs have come up and over his head (basically it's flipped him).

It looks like the woman has seen the pedestrian in the first pic and then realising she was going to hit him tried to veer away from him which would explain the car positioning in the second pic.

You can also see shadowing on the car beneath where his head is.

The very fact that the people in the cars and on the crossing are looking at the guy jaws agape also seems too much of a coincidence for me. (i.e. I don't think the guy could possibly have been photochopped into the picture.)

I dunno... I think it's too elaborate to be a hoax IMO. It's an interesting one to analyse though

The reason Europe is getting so strict about pedestrian safety designed into the vehicles.

Am I the only one that admits it is funny? I feel bad for the poor soul but that is a hell of a picture....

The poor expressions on the people's faces on the car to the left....but look at the car behind the benz ... beside to its left...a lot of smudging...I think it is a fake.

That ol' hag! My cat drives better than that!

Hitting a person is not necessarily going to cause significant front-end damage. The impact is going to vary depending on the speed of the car and at what angle the person is hit...by the person flipping the way he is, more energy is being dissipated instead of going in to the car (or the person, for that matter)
