Stories like this are the exact reason I plan on purchasing a dash cam with GPS. The GPS will record the speed you're going at all times, and you would have had evidence to bring to court.

Best of luck with the attorney, I hear that tends to make things much easier in court.

Having an attorney is good, paying for one sucks.

Too bad you can't get off on a technicality. I used to live in Chicago, and a red light camera caught me making a right turn on a red light....but when they sent me the ticket, they had the wrong intersection and street names on there. I went back to the intersection, took pics of the street signs, and told them there is no street names as they said. They dismissed my ticket!

You ought to have your license and future driving privileges removed. Driving 90+ in a 45 zone?! You want to kill yourself? Jump off the bridge instead. You're bringing danger to other drivers who you SHARE the road with.

Read the ENTIRE thread before you post, I'm not the only one who thought OP went admittedly went 92, or quit trolling.

My apologies OP.

Sorry to hear that OP -- nothing worse than being accused of something you didn't do. Edit your original post or something -- it does sound like you are admitting doing 92mph.

if the officer didnt actually radar/laser you going 92...then he had no Probable Cause for the stop..you tell that to any good lawyer and they'll have that ticket thrown out in court. The only problem is proving he didnt actually get you doing that....police that are certified to run radar/laser are also required to keep logs of every one they stop for speeding/what speed they were going. at least here in florida they are. He can always go to court and lie his ass off though that you were the one doing 92. and yes while that is a crime to lie in court, proving either he or you is lying is a whole other story..barring any witness to the offense..its your word vs. his...only thing that will help you is your clean driving record. That wont get the ticket thrown out though, only help with the consequences if you plead or are found guilty

Sounds like the OP found one with a good record in that jurisdiction.
