Default cell phone "antenna booster"

ok, back to infomercials: have you seen this "antenna booster" thing on TV? you put this sticker thingie behind the battery, and it's supposed to boost signals by 5X (or so they claim).

any truth in this?

By theory it could make the signal stronger. I think that it would work better on a front antenna versus the rear antenna on the
S 2000. Just a thought. I belive that it would work but 5X I really doubt.

I'm curious about this as well, but I have to agree about the BS detector. I seem to remember the same folks selling the "anti cancer" attachment a couple of years ago.

it doesnt work, i saw a test on 20/20 dateline(one of those types of shows) and they showed its a waste

They don't work, my friend had one which was given to him by his brother.

Long story short. It's a waste of money. That anti-cancer thing doesn't work either.
