i'm trying to unlock a motorola v66 from t-mobile. i currently have cingular and would like to use this phone, but i don't have the subsidy phoen code. i don't have a data cable for it either so unlocking it via pc is out of the question. any t-mobile users care to help out?

t-mobile will unlock the phones they support. call their 611. you neeed to have been a cusotmer for a few months to do this

look at howardforums.com for more info, you can send out your phone too and there may be some local places in your area willing to do it.

problem is i'm not a t-mobile customer. ekkk! i've checked howardforums.com and other sites. geting the code from t-mobile seems to be my best bet at the moment.

Call t-mobile anyway and tell them you have this phone - maybe they'll help, but I doubt it. How did you get it?

They will not do this, as they are not allowed to. If you ask on howard forums, they will delete the thread and ban you (huge sticky warning on top of the page). Go to a little mom/pop cellphone store, and ask them to unlock it. They usually charge about $10-20 bucks.

If you're anywhere near a Chinatown, they'll unlock anything for a little fee.
