Default Cell Phone recommendations.

well my 3 yr. son decide to squeeze the screen on my cell to see all the funky colors. Phone is working but screen is gone.

So i am looking for a new one. I have cingular service and I am pretty happy with it. what do you guys recommend.

I looked at the Razor but I believe a new one is coming out in a month or so. So I kinda would like to wait, but can't.

I've learned that Nokia make superior phones than other brands. Never had a Motorolla though. Don't get Samsung, don't get Sony. I think Nokia has a flip phone coming soon.

1000% disagree.

The Palm OS sux. The 650 is highly susceptible to freezes, resets even with minimal apps added.

the supposed beauty of this thing is the ability add cool apps, but what good is it if those apps makes the phone staight up unreliable? plus, the memory management is horrible on the Treo. you can't even run apps off of a memory card so you gotta use the existing memory which you cannot upgrade.

the pull email is not reliable. needs to act like the blackberry/sidekick, but it does not. even recurring pulls... prone to error messages.

chat apps... pls... if you got the phone call coming or you accept a message at the wrong time... freezes or resets.

if it worked reliably, it'd be a great pda/phone. i had mine for 1 week and went thru 3 new ones with minimal installs. froze up unpredictably... reset.... some of the keys were mushy...

overall a bad experience for me.

i'd hit up the windows mobile device 5.0 phones. check out the samsung... not sure if it's available via cingular though
