Thanks for the praise. We launched the site because we felt that we needed a central portal. We have bigger plans for the central site, but right now it meant for a way for people to find the site for their city.

If anyone else wants to check it out, go to http://www.gasbuddy.com. It is a main portal website for 115 cities across the US and Canada. These sites act as a guide to the lowest and highest gas prices around. We founded the company as a non-profit organization, with the aim of fighting high gas prices.

Neat site! I'd guess that members only stations like Costco would not be listed?

 

Well, the site was designed for gas price spotters (could be anyone) to post prices to the site. SO, you could go to the site for your city and enter in the price for the Costco station near you.
