I heard an announcer refer to the bowl game they sponsor as the Chick-filluh Bowl.

Sports announcers are, on the whole, morons.

80 miles away from me, they better include a blumpkin when the chocolate shake starts plowing through. . .

Not a fan of their food but they do treat the employees well. They are the only fast food chain to be closed on Sundays.

Agree! The food is delicious but man the price is kind of over priced. There isn't a chick-fil-a around my area though.

You know what REALLY, REALLY pisses me off about Chick-fil-A??

Why is the Grilled Chicken Sandwich some processed piece of chicken??

I mean, for LESS money, you can get the deep fried "original" chicken sandwich...but for MORE money (and a healthier option) you get some nasty piece of chicken on a bun.

It's gross. Yet I always order the damn thing because, 1. I'm trying to eat healthier... and 2. I hate that taste of the peanut oil they use on the fried chicken sandwiches... and 3. Because it's quick, easy and the folks are typically quite friendly.

I like that the original owner, Cathy Truitt, is a devout Southern Baptist man and I love seeing their stores CLOSED on Sundays...it's great that a fast food restaurant has some values.

I love it that every response of an employee is "My Pleasure" versus "You're Welcome." I really feel like a GUEST in their restaurants. And when I pay with my debit card, they call me BY NAME. Can you believe that?? The ONLY other place I get that is at Nordstrom and I have never spent $7 at Nordstrom.

I love Chick Fil A. The original sammich and fries are worth the premium.

Ummmm. I'll pay an extra $.50 just so I don't have to have some ghetto ass shaniqua with 3" finger nails say "WHAT YOU WANT?! WE AINT GOT THAT SO YOU GON' HAVE TO ORDER SOM'N ELSE."

I will also pay an additional $.50 so I don't have to go through the entire bag of food while sitting in the drive through so I can make sure my order is right.

I'm not saying anything about the hiring standards but at least from what I've seen they're pretty good... you can read in to that however you want but the proof is in the pudding.
