Thumbs up Christmas cards

Maybe I'm a bit of a grinch, but I don't feel like doing Christmas cards this year. A few years back, I sent them to everyone & their mothers! I must've done more than 50 cards that year.

Plus, the way I see it, if you're getting a Christmas card, you're someone who I'm reasonably close with, which means I've been talking to you all year. Thus, you really don't need a card for an update on what's new.

I remember Christmas cards from when I was a kid. They were sort of "yearly updates" for the people who we hadn't heard from (ie: those who lived far away & didn't keep in regular phone contact).

Are you sending Christmas/holiday cards this year?

I'm sending Christmas cards, but not like years past, where EVERYONE in my address book would get one. Now, my wife and I select our closest friends and family and send them picture cards of our children. Heck, you dont even have to sign them, its already personalized. Started this year and I think its great.

Then all my friends on S2Ki will get a very Merry Christmas wish via POST!

i'm sending out about a hundred or so cards. total cost is about $120 for the hundred cards. a physical card is always nicer than an e-card, i think.

We're sending out between 50 and 60 cards.

It's fun.

I'm with Mingster on e-cards. In spades.
