The radio station I listen to at work started their month of christmas music, with every 10th song or so being a christmas song. Steadily progesses to being every other song by the 20th or so. I don't mind some of it, like Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Mannheim Steamroller, but the 800 variations of Jingle Bells and whatnot just annoy the heck out of me.

Call me Scrooge, I guess.

I don't not like it as long as it is after December 1st but before December 26th.

I love most Christmas tunes, they really get me in the festive mood.

Good call on the December 1st thing. Maybe that's it - it's only November 26, it's still 45 degrees outside, the grass is still plainly in sight and green in some places, yet I've heard Jingle Bells 3 times already today.

Christmas can't feel like Christmas without Alvin and the Chipmunks.

(And then there's the updated "Twelve Days of Christmas"--you know, with the Japanese transistor radio and the "statue of a lady with a clock where her stomach ought to be."

Great, now I'm getting all weepy. )

True... I like Mariah Carey's version of "All I want for Christmas (is you)", along with aforementioned Mannheim/TSO stuff..
