Default Chrysler Proving Ground Drive

I know it is Chrysler but I found this interseting.

Just got a piece of mail from Chrysler to go to Stafford Springs Speedway in Ct. to drive Chryslers on a track.

Looks like it is Mfg. sponsored and promises that there will be no salespeople present and you can drive their cars thru a slalom as well as straight acceleration runs.

Has anyone here ever seen this?

Da Hapa and I have gone on similar drives, except they were for other manufacturer cars. The one we were on was for the new Lexus ES300. Da Hapa has been on the drives for BMW also.

You should go and check it out. They usually have other competitor cars there that you can try out also. Ont he Lexus drive, we were able to try out some Mercedes, BMWs, and Volvos.

The tracks are fun to drive. Just take the car out there and beat on it.

I got one of those in the mail, it was for GM and it said that they are going to have Corvettes and other GM cars. I read through the info and it said you have to 21 to participate in driving. I wanted for my dad and I to go down there and check out the cars. He loves corvettes but doesn't own one (yet) My mom hasnt let him get one. On a side note though we are going to have a Cobra kit car built in a couple years. That is a little off of the topic.
