YAh, when i went to vegas i saw 'O' and alegria and one of there shows just came to dallas. I actually got flown to vegas a year and a half ago to audition for them because I have a strong theatre backround from highschool and I activly participated in gymnastics. It was an amazing experience. Only 2 of the 30 or 40 people who auditioned made it. Aparently I just needed more gymnastics experience... oh well!!! it was alot of fun, i'd rather do film anyways!! By far O was the best show i've seen of theirs!
A friend of mine (a coach at the gym I go) tried out and they basically said, "go take a walk kid." I thought this guy was god but apparently not good enough for Cirque. I heard that even if you make it, you have to be at tip-top shape (read fat measurements every other week etc)...miss one too many practice, you're out. But apparently it pays very well. Imagine doing a handstand on chairs and getting paid ~$100,000!

I've seen at least 5 of the traveling shows and "O" is by far the
most entertaining!!!

yah, the 2 people who made it the time I tried out were russians. They had been training forEVER. the girl was doing hand stands on the guys hands when they were extended.on Bravo they are going to have something about the training and such. I think they just wanted to audition me for charecter role's... and such. but the day before i was leaving I tore tendons or ligiments in my arm so i couldn't preform very well. I still did some stuff but it was not very pretty. hehehh and I had a COLD BLEH! but thanks! see ya'll!
