Default Civic drag car powered by S2000 motor.

I was skiming through Super Street looking for anything about the S2000. I came across a little paragraph about Marcos Acosta(The Players 2001, pg 228). SS mentioned that he's building a new Civic which will be powered by a TURBOCHARGED S2000's motor, YES TURBOCHARGE. His curren car is a Mazda MX-3 with the best time of 7.76@175mph.

I'd like to see an article on just how he able to ge that engine in there. I guess with enough money any thing is possible. Will it still be front drive, is he swapping out the whole running gear. Hmmm intriuging

I saw this guys other car (the MX3) on speedvision last night on the "Compact Performance Expo"(what a rice bowl, but i digress). The MX3 barely qualifies as an MX3, its got a Twin Turbo 20B rotary driving the rear wheels (and a tube frame, at least on the front end). The Civic will have a kevlar skin and Im sure will be rear-wheel drive.

If he intends to use the Civic transaxle and just drop the S motor in he'll get a rude shock. The S engine spins clockwise, the Civic anti-clockwise.

Imagine a Civic doing the 1/4 mile in 13 seconds, backwards!

From the little pic that I saw in the mag. The civic is definately a rear-wheel-drive. All i'm interested in, is how will the S2000's motor will do when it's Turbocharged.
