Default A classmate of mine died in a drunk driving crash

i've had a couple of questions so i'll do my best to answer them.

so let's get one thing straight:
i was not close to her. it would stretch the definition of "acquaintance" by A LOT. i saw her on campus almost everyday walking to class, or on the pool deck for swim. but we didn't talk.

then i saw it on TV and i could not believe it. i said three words after i saw the news, and two of three were cuss words.

it's one of those things where it hits you, and you don't believe it. or you don't WANT to believe it.

maybe it's because i'm only sixteen, and i really haven't experienced death so close. i don't know.

but i felt the urge to help because i have learned so much just in the past 5 days. and i can't imagine how painful it must be for the parents. you aren't supposed to outlive your children. and to have to bury them must be one of the worst feelings one can feel. and i'm sensitive to that. here's a girl, one year away from graduating high school, and she gets her life taken away from her.

and that's what killed me. she's at that age where she is aware of her existence but really hasn't lived life yet. she won't be able to experience what most people her age will be able to experience. she won't be able to go through the ups and downs of life that make life what it is.
people say she is in a "better place," but i don't have proof of that and i'm going to keep trying to help make things better in any way i can.

and that's why i'm doing this. it's the least i could do.

i'm still taking donations if you would like

the mother is looking for donations of any kind as she cannot afford the entire funeral cost. I personally was not all that close to the girl who passed away, but I'm trying to do anything I can to help.

so sorry, this will be my last cross-post over forums..

A donation of ANY KIND will help at this point and would be greatly appreciated by the friends and family.

I can take Paypal, and I'm currently seeing if my own funds can match every dollar paid via Paypal.
You can also drive by my house if you'd like to drop anything off.

If the reason you are skeptical about donating is ME, please PM me and we'll discuss. You can also go through another person if you'd like. I PROMISE AT LEAST 105% of the money raised will go to the mother. I'm not trying to scam anyone out of anything and maybe someone can vouch for my existence or something.

Her dream cars were the S2000 along with the Supra, so I thought it would be nice if our little S2000 community could help. I was thinking of writing everyone's name who donates on a card, so if you'd like, you can be kept anonymous.

The funeral is tomorrow afternoon, so please act soon.

So please, if you would be so kind to donate any amount or if you really need details, I can provide them for you, just PM me or IM me at "iamwhor3hay" .

Thanks a lot,
George
