i'm reading the sports pages about Lebron James coming back to Cleveland this morning and i just saw pictures of fans holding signs and the whole city and everything. i must say, i don't give a shit about NBA basketball...i just think its funny how pathetic and lame Cleveland is to care about one person so much. Get over it and move on with your pathetic lives!

I live in Miami and to be honest, I think the way lebron handled leaving the cavs and coming here was not very tactful. However, the way cavs fans have been acting over it is equally as bad. I'm not going to lie, it felt great watching lebron put up 38 points and silencing the critics.

Too bad people will still talk shit.

 

I can't believe people watch the NBA

 

i don't like basketball but i got tix through work for a 76ers game once (played the Magic i think) and took the wife. it was the most boring thing we've ever been to. we both swore to never see another NBA game in our lifetime.

 

Or pay an average of $85 per ticket, face value, to watch live.

Or live and die on the performance of multi-millionaire punks that could give two shits about winning or losing.

Or who characterize the personality of both themselves and their city on the fortunes (or misfortunes) of the sports teams.

Or who are shallow enough to think that the scattering of fans showns in the media are an accurate representation of the 2.6 million people that live here in NE Ohio.

Regarding the outcry from Ohioans: He got, and will continue to get, what he deserves.

And, yeah, the NBA is somewhat of a joke these days, but so is the NFL. I think you could make the same arguments on how hypocritical and tainted most (if not all) the sports leagues are in this country.
