cloverfield final scene
yea yea, i know the movie sucked, but can someone who knows explain where exactly u can see the ship crash into the water during the last scene of the movie?
The movie didn't suck, it sucked for people who were ignorant about the nature of the film and viral marketing yet still went to see it. A satellite falls into the water on the right side of the screen.
First. It did not suck. Its in the final scene when they're at Coney Island. Remember the scene where the nuke hits and everything goes red, and then switches to a sunny day a month before when him and beth were at Coney Island. It first looks to the water and if you look out into the water, more to the right, you will see it fall into the water. Its really nothing to get excited about, but still is pretty cool to catch. Then the camera switches back to beth and she says "It was a good day."

It did suck. No plot, horribly nauseating camera work, the annoyance of Hud screaming, "Oh my God, Rob!" repeatedly; the only satisfying scene was Hud being silenced once and for all.
It's dumb that people are trying to tout this movie as great or claiming that those who didn't like it "don't get it". Claiming that the viral marketing is not understood makes no sense, VM is supposed to compliment a movie and in actuality "sell" the product to the dolts who need to be smothered & overwhelmed by a product's hype; the movie should be able to stand on its own without VM.
Don't be fooled by the lemmings posting here, Cloverfield sucked, don't waste your time trying to "get" it.

i see the boat on the right side of the screen, but still didn't see the crash. damn.
ive found that people who dont like the movie lack the imagination to "imagine" what it would be like if there were in the movie personally.
