Coachella

Has anybody gone to Coachella before? I'm thinking about going with a group of friends and just wondering what to expect. I've never been to a major music festival before. What are the requirements for survival?

Are you camping or just going during the day? Makes a big diff how you prepare obviously.

Just going during the day. My friends & I are renting a place in Palm Springs.

Day pass.. off the top of my head

Backpacks
Fluids (gatorade ftw)
Few snacks
Sunscreen!!!
Sunglasses
hat
hoodie, depending on weather
money for drugs, or your own drugs, or both
big blanket you don't care about
tarp if it's been raining or rain is predicted.. sitting on wet grass or mud ain't always fun
