Coke's secondary flavor is vanilla. Pepsi's is citrus.
That's why Pepsi has developed Pepsi Vanilla and Coke has developed Lime Coke.

Several years ago Coke had a commercial with Bill Cosby in which he said that Pepsi is sweeter than Coke. He opened a can of Coke and poured it into a glass, then claimed that it wasn't ready to drink yet, poured in some sugar, stirred it, then drank it. The idiots who came up with that ad campaign should have been fired: the ad said explicitly that Pepsi was perfect out of the can but that Coke needed to be fixed.
What morons!
Didn't anyone tell then that they were supposed to be promoting Coke!?
