The first year of college, you don't have to go to stay at the college the whole first year before you transter? You can transfer after the first semester, correct? Thanks

 

Depends on different colleges.

Here in California, for a UC to UC college transfer, a student has to stay at least 2 years at a UC school, THEN transfer. With private and Cal State schools, probably transfer whenever you want.

Don;t forget that when you transfer some schools are on the quarter system and others are on the semester system. Your units might not transfer directly across, unless you go to another school on the smester system.
