Colored Diamond Question
so i read about "cultured" diamonds years and years ago, and it looks like they're almost ready for prime time. i've had apollo & diamonds cultured websites in my bookmark for years and since my 10-year wedding anniversary is coming up i'm looking to get my wife something a little more different than your run of the mill white diamonds.

as far as i know from a jeweler's perspective this is real diamond, and i've read somewhere that the diamond cartel is (or has been) scrambling to make machines that can detect these things.
my question is if i were to buy naturally made blue diamond, how much would that be compared with the cultured ones?

Blue being among the most rare of colors for a diamond, you could expect to pay well into the six figures per carat.
I saw a very fine pink several years ago that was not much larger than a carat. It was $186K. A blue would be quite a bit more.
