At this point everything is still speculation until the unveiling later this year. This is going to be a limited run like the Lightweight was so I've no doubt that the M folks will work their magic in making this an insane car.

I too have heard the M5 V8 is lighter than the I6 M3 engine due to the aluminum vs. cast-iron block.
