now, i'm trying to actually rip it off and make it as a file/ video cd
for my friend.

but... i have no idea how.
can anyone help me?

SAVE AS...
Download it..
Burn it on CD
and you are down..
if you want to change the format.. you would need some sort of video editting software

Not that easy this time, Brandon. If you check the link, it's one of those "live only" videos that you can't save to your hard drive. I'm not sure how to do it....

no luck there either.
i'm not to familiar with asf files... seems like it does not generate any cache.

Streaming videos are not stored in cache. A program called "streambox vcr" allows you to save streaming files.

You should be able to find the application with a google search. Now, the funny thing is that the creators got into some legal trouble for making this application so thay can no longer offer legitimate sales and "unlock keys". However, the download I got had an extra .zip file inside the first .zip file with the stuff you need to make the applicaiton work. This sounds more complicated than it really is.
