Which computer for less than or equal to $2,500?
If I had unlimited funds, I go with an L Computer. www.go-l.com
They're so insane that a lot of people were calling
on their products, saying they don't even exist. But they do...and my dream computer comes to about 40,000 bucks.

1 Terrabyte of storage
3200 will be fine, non-ecc. Haven't bought RAM in awhile, I think registered memory is the way to go, it helps keep timing straight.
Is your avatar a Stradale stripe?
The cream of the crop video card is (from what I remember) the nVidia 6800 Ultra (or GT or something
). If you're not going to play a lot of games, it's not worth spending $300 on a vid card.
What's with the extra network card? And why the extra sound card? If you're not doing any home theater or digital audio mastering type stuff, you don't really need it. But at $100 bux...I guess. The onboard stuff will probably be more than sufficient.
