Concussions
I've had 4 concussions. One from getting kicked in the head while playing soccer, one from blunt trauma, one from dirt jumping/freeride mountain biking, and one from snowboarding.
There are tons of different symptoms, and you can feel only one or quite a few of them. Most recently was the snowboarding incident, and after I took the hit, I saw stars. Right after, I tried getting up, and the "stars" got even worse and everything seemed to be moving around me, I fell right back down. On the trip down the mountain, I almost threw up multiple times due to dizziness and a lack of balance/depth perception. I was really tired, but knew from previous experiences that I shouldn't go to sleep. The next few days I was dizzy and light headed, and just kinda felt "not really there" ...at work, I pretty much just sat there and stared at the computer, doing nothing.
If I were you, I'd go to the doctor and definitely not participate in any active sports or anything that could reinjure your head. If your symptoms last more than 20 minutes and you reinjure your head within a week or two, you can die or suffer permanent brain damage.
Your brain is pretty much floating inside the skull (not actually touching it), and when you take a hard hit, your brain smashes against your skull (the inside is not very smooth either) and your brain swells/bleeds... During the healing process is when the brain is most vulnerable.

Good stories
I had been drinking heavily Saturday with my friends when they decided they wanted to play basketball. Kolby and I were both going after a rebound and somehow that's how I caught his elbow straight on my right jaw. I stayed on my feet for about 2 seconds and then hit the concrete. I heard ringing and thought my ears were bleeding. I didn't think much of it since I was drunk, but man I've been kind of loopy ever since.

wow... I'm surprised with such symptom, you are still posting here to ask on s2ki forum instead of going to a doctor. I mean yea I know this forum is helpful and all that but come on, concussion can be real serious.

I once got kicked in the back of the head whilst sparring in Tae Kwon Do.

Well it's been three days, so I figure if I was going to die it would have happened already.

Seriously, no joking around.

Midway through the 1975 F1 season, Penske abandoned the troublesome PC1 and started using the March 751. Donohue had recently arrived in Austria for the Austrian Grand Prix following the successful closed-course speed record attempt at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama just a few days earlier. During a practice session for the race, Donohue lost control of his March after a tire failed sending him careening into the catch fencing. A track marshal was killed by debris from the accident, but Donohue didn't appear to be injured significantly. However, a resulting headache worsened and after going to the hospital of Graz the next day, Donohue lapsed into a coma from a brain hemorrhage and died.

I've had two concussions, once from being rear ended and once from lowsiding my motorcycle. The first one left me with dizzy spells for 6 months.
Definitely see a doctor and get the thing fully diagnosed and treated.
I wrestled a guy when I was 16 and had him in a choke hold. He was way bigger than me and he literally picked me up (with my arms locked around his neck) and fell back with me onto a concrete floor. Then he started slamming my head against the concrete until I let go of him.
I had headaches for days, was dizzy all the way home, etc, etc, and didn't realize until six months later that I had suffered a concussion. My doctor picked up on it during a routine examination (lingering effects).

Wow.. that could've been real dangerous. Strong blow in the back of head can kill a person a lot of times.
Hence, I'm still around to tell about it.
