Connecting/logging/interacting with an FTP site using Java ?

Yea, I forgot to mention - that portion will be integrated into the program and the whole thing is supposed to be automated. Clients upload a lot of files onto the FTP and the program has to take them and route them within the company.

I did something exactly like this.
also used jcrontab (on sourceforge) as the scheduler for the task
(it did ftp, analysis on files it was ftp'ing, send out status emails, etc). and then I used another free 3rd party thing to run jchrontab as a windows service as it was a windows machine that was running it.

I downloaded a free generic FTP api, sounds like you already have it underway tho so I'll be quiet now.
