Cool Guitar Vids
This is pretty sweet, esp for Metallica fans.
Kirk Hammett
This is mind boggling and strange at the same time
Buckethead
I'm in awe at their talent. Being a beginner, I could only hope to achieve a quarter of their skills.

I've had a guitar for 5yrsbut never had time to learn how to play it but watching Kirk Hammett made me want to get back into it, still don't have the time though. Not to mention that I let a friend borrow it so I'd have to pry it away from him.

cool stuff
have you seen the guy play mario brothers theme song on his electric? pretty entertaining how he does the sound effects
mario bros tune
also, kadeshpa, don't know if you've seen this yet or not, but check out "Crossroads" with Ralph Macchio (not the one with Britney Spears
). the finale is an amazing scene where Ralph's character has a guitar duel with the devil, played by Steve Vai.

I hate to sound like this, but I could play as well as Kirk Hammett 3 years into my study, the guy is a great song writer, but not such a great guitar player (Metallica fans be damned). Now Buckethead, well, he's a phenom, like his mentor Paul Gilbert...

John Petrucci is master of all!! Those guys are awsome, but Petrucci, of the group Dream Theater, is my favorite. He and Joe Satriani are the best that I've ever heard. As far as drums go, Mike Portnoy is one of the greatest. He also happens to play for Dream Theater. Their music is a little different, but if you like Pink Floyd and Rush, you should like DT.
