I'm not the OP but I dislike traffic cops....because 75% of what they do is for revenue and not actually keeping society safe. Please tell me how giving me a ticket for no front plate is keeping society safe? This is just an example, I have a front plate on.

"The cops and Steven all get treated for minor injuries at the hospital"

Yeah ok, I'd like to see stevens "minor" injuries. They probably beat the living sh#@ out of him. Not that I wouldn't like to if I was one of the cops, but they can't take justice into their own hands. Problem is, most cops think they are also a judge and jury. Oh and, the guy who stole your seats and antenna was puerto rican.

This is why, I have been harassed by them countless times, and any tickets they have given me have been quickly thrown out of court. Im sick of the bastards always being there to waste my time with half reasons for pulling me over.

If I have done something wrong then fine, ill own up and pay up, but to this day I have not paid a traffic ticket because its all been BS and harassment. Dash cameras work both ways, and its such a coincidence the cops camera is never on when they F up. My camera is always on!

Occasionally yes cops do protect society but I think its bs and sheep mentality that they are the sole reason society is held in place... I cant think of a single position that abuses their power more and gets off easier.

If we didnt have cops then martial law would smooth things out much better. You think seat thieves would prosper so much if afew owners had blown off their heads? I think not, think repeated rapists and murderers would countlessly commit the same crime? Hell no, with no cops, the scum of society would be wiped away by martial law.

Im sure the guy in the video was justly taken into custody, and I agree criminals should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, not just slapped on the wrists and let out to do the same shit again in afew months.

And lets not even get into double standards, how a cop can blow away 6 women and children, or beat an old lady and get paid vacation?

If it was clear he was on drugs, the officers should've dealt with the situation differently.

I have constantly since the age of 17 been harassed by the police in my area and never once charged with any crime.Several times me and my BMX riding buddies were harassed for riding on private property when we had gotten permission to ride there.

Another time I was pulled over at 2am with my father in the car because my vehicle matched the description of another street racing. The officer told my father to be quiet and let me explain where I was coming from.yea the other vehicle was a red sebring convertible....how does that even look remotely close to an s2000?

Have had officers to my house over a half dozen times ,about calls from the neighbors regarding under aged drinking,my buddies twenty year old gf was the only under aged person, police officers told her on two occasion to take a breathalyzer test or they would arrest everyone for public intoxication on "private property".

How many times have you seen the police driving the speed limits? or use their lights to get through busy intersections?

At one point the police forces of America may have been solely used to uphold the law, anymore most of them exist to boost revenue for cities.

I agree to an extent... Some of the police officers around here make me question my safety on a daily basis

I was a witness in a car accident where a drunk driver crashed into a resatuarant.

I was the first person on scene and help carry a lady out that was injured. you could smell the natural gas and luckily nothing happened.

I was interviewed 3 times because they kept messing up and at one point the Police actually thought i helped the driver flee the scene even though i help the police look for him.. I had already moved out of town so my dad had to go down and straighten things out.

I was then subpeonad(sp?) and the apartment i live in is beside another building. I was called by the officer stating he couldnt find my building and to come meet him.

so i did and was told that i should talk to my building manager to have my building properly labelled because if there ever is a shoot out the police wont know where to go.

Sorry for the long read. but who doesnt wonder how smart some of the people that protect the laws of which we live by..

Sidenote. I once went to an career presentation for the RCMP.. a police force in canada wide.. i have never seen more sad looking people before in my life.

But Not all police officers are bad. I must say i have met a few that actually do great work.

its just in the publics eyes some bad apples can spoil the bunch

I used to feel like cops were picking on me when I was younger. But now that I've grown up, am acting like an adult and obeying laws, I don't get bothered anymore. Huh..........go figure.
