Cops Suspected of Street Racing Kill 2 Teens
Damn, the kids would have safely made it through the intersection if the Cop wasn't going 100mph. I'm curious to know what the drivers B/A % was.
Either way, there is no reason the cop should have been at 94mph if there was no emergency...

it really didnt look like the cops were street racing... i think that just blows the whole incident out of proportion.. yeah the cop was speeding when he shouldnt have been and the kids were drinking while driving...
the kids mightve killed someone if the cop didnt hit them. 2 wrongs dont make a right.. shit happens.

^ not if the person turned infront of him, which caused the accident here.

^ If YOU were to speed and kill someone, you'd be charged with vehicular manslaughter and reckless driving. Same should be for the cop(s).

steponme, I understand your position. it's the higher of the two roads, that's for sure.
but alas, we live in the world of reality, and we can't change the human condition. those on top of the power chain get to tug harder than those of us on the bottom.
will the cop get what he deserves? of course not.
but does he deserve to have the book thrown at him? of course not.
we all know whats going to happen here.

I already can't judge distance as well at night time, so I'm a pussy when taking turns at night, but you trust that the cars on the other side of the road are going 40 mph and not 90 mph, you begin to turn and suddenly the car is not 5 seconds away, but half a second away from hitting you. Are you really going to be paying attention at 11 PM when all you are doing is trying to get home?
Here it's like some law the people follow that you drive 5-10 mph under the speed limit past 11, I pass 3/4 of the cars on the street just going the speed limit. I would only realize that car are speeding by the sound of the engines coming down the street.
