--Copycat--
--I hope this doesn't spark any controversy but I venture to say--
If you check out the g/b for the megan coilovers - we probably all agree that this is probably one of the best deals ever seen on coilovers.
but I want to say that I don't understand why people/companies pick similar names of other well known companies
this are some of the worst marketing skills ever
megan obviously resembles mugen (I automatically assumed this brand was a copycat/ripoff of mugen when I saw it on ebay)
spugen - again, personally, I would never buy a brand like that just because of the copy cat name. They do have pretty good exhausts though
t1r exhaust - everybody confuses this with type one(even myself at first). I own the exhaust because of the quality, performance, price and sound.
I just dislike the fact that it is the same names a spoon's sister company, which is a prestigious company.
these are just a select few that I noticed. I think it is so irrational that people do this. Another example: the only thing I hate about Lebron James is that he copied someone else's number (23). I don't respect this about him. This is a similar case to branding of parts and companies.
I just notice too much of this and felt like discussing this and see what other people think. People should be more creative and not follow the foot steps of others.
