i spoke with a contractor today. they said socal is just really high in terms of labor and dealing the CA regulations. they said 250 a sq ft if you're lucky. this sucks. how am i ever gonna get my batcave?

I'd suggest first looking for a cave instead of a house.

$250, that's insane, oh wait, that's cali!
