Kick A$$ show tonite
Next week looks like Jack's getting into trouble for disobeying orders. WTF Jack should be like I don't even work for you man, I'm doin this ish on my own time

Good show. Nothing like seeing jack kill a guy with his feet while handcuffed to a table!!
tonight's episode was lame too. because jack decided to disobey an order, from the president himself, the nerve gas was released anyway, some people died, and they lost their lead to the terrorists. CTU should have had some agents move in closer and be ready to contain and disable the cannisters, shut the down the ventilation system, and evacuate the mall once the terrorists have exited the building. there would had been a few casualties as well, but at least jack's cover wouldn't had been blown, and they wouldn't have lost their lead to the rest of the cannisters. also, what's up with the terrorist guy breaking into a car, pulls off the panel underneath the steering column, and 2 wires, that are pre-spliced, are hanging there, ready for him to use to hotwire the car??? another lapse of attention to detail by the writers, perhaps??
i know it's just a show, and i agree with you, for the most part, that jack's a bada$$, but this guy has made back to back errors for the past 2 episodes. he choose to obey orders last week, and it backfired on him, and he decided to disobey orders this week, and it also backfired on him. one of the things that makes jack bauer a bada$$ is that he has good instincts, but the past 2 episodes, his instincts have been horrendous, and it's as if jack's becoming too "human."
But if Jack got to the canisters so quickly in the season... what happens to the rest of the 17 or so episodes left??
This is 24, meaning 24 hours, 24 episodes. It's not your typical 2 hr movie or soap opera that deals over an extended time. They need to drag it for a little longer. In the end... we all know the world will be safe cause Jack Bauer's going to save the day.

people have to understand that it take place over 1 day. In movies they resolve everything in an hour and a half to 2 hours, that's because it shows the events over a longer period of time. On 24 an hour is really an hour, and I think even though Jack is making mistakes or whatever, it makes the show more real. How exciting would the show be if Jack could solve everything on his lunch break, then we'd just be left with 23 hours of Jack BS'ing around.
