Good show, glad Lynn's dead... BUT TONY!?!?!?! TONY!?!?!?!
Kim was definetly a waste... they couldn't have just brought her in for 2/3 episodes.. there has to be more than just that. I say the next person they should kill is the VP, but that Dept of Homeland Sec. lady coming to CTU... oh man this is NOT going to be good at all!
I wonder how many more seasons Jack Bauer has left in him... his life would have given a normal person about 5 heart attacks by now.... plus a couple of nervous breakdowns thrown in for good measure.
now, I don't know anything about nerve gas. But even if they held their breath, and it didn't get absorbed through their skin, wouldn't the nerve gas permeate the mucous membranes, and eyes? That part was a little weird... talking about when Jack went into the contaminated area.

Last nite was okay, not really what we're use to when watching 24, but at least they killed off Rudy(which I predicted last week
) Next week looks like Homeland security is coming in, and since they don't know what Jack is capable of, you gotta figure two episodes from now he'll be a rogue agent (unleashed) again. I think next week is really gonna pick up for the rest of the season

Jack won't be a rogue agent as far as Homeland Security is concerned, because isn't he commissioned by the president to work at/with CTU? I mean, he doesn't work "under" CTU so Homeland Security can't really touch him. My logic may be flawed here or I may have somehow missed something...

Quote:
VX gas may be absorbed ocularly (through the eyes), percutaneously (through skin), and by inhalation. Upon absorbtion, the phosphorous atom of VX covalently binds to a serine hydroxyl group in the active site of acetylcholinesterase (compare the two structures below).
This binding stops the hydrolysis of acetylcholine, causing constant stimulation that "fatigues" the post-synaptic neurone. The lack of acetylcholine also exhausts the pre-synaptic neurone's acetylcholine reserves.
This constant nerve stimulation causes the characteristic symptoms of VX Gas poisoning. These include:
Ataxia (lack of muscle control)
Slurred speech
Coma
Areflexia (loss of reflexes)
Generalized convulsions
Cessation of breathing i.e. death
Television...

You are correct.
