Cozumel.....
^ In that case, Raptor's suggestion prevails. Just drive over, find a secluded beach & relax to the sounds of the waves. When you get hungry, head to one of the many bars/restaurants along the beach. Rastas (near the south end of the back side) has some great coconut shrimp. Although The Mission (I think that's what it was called, and there are a couple of them on the island) gave it some competition. The Mission actually served their coconut shrimp with half a coconut and you could dip the shrimp in the sweet coconut milk. YUM!!!

Cozumel is awesome! If you want to have an awesome trip book a spearfishing voyage with leo at http://www.spearfishingtoday.com/ His gf is super hot!
Stay away from the national parks they are pretty lame. The crime rate is pretty much 0 in cozumel so you dont have to worry about much except the crazy drivers.
Here is a list of a lot of activitys and the top scuba groups : http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractio...Peninsula.html
I cannot wait to go back. We spent 13 days last time we went, my sister got married on the beach .[attachment=3370:n514383688_2304181_3949418.jpg]
When you can go back for a boys trip make sure you go to the "piano bars"
They are nuts!
Go see my buddy Adrian, he runs kiteboarding cozumel. Adrian knows everyone and everything to do in Cozumel and can give you recommendations on all kinds of activities and places to eat or beaches to enjoy..
His family owns 3 different resturants. Adrians is the best. It's a rooftop romatic spot with great food. It's called Especias Restaubar http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=48636304665
His brothers place is called Casa Dennis, it is in the town square where the cruise ships arrive. And the other is Las Tortugas which is out a little ways.(more of a lunch place)
Have fun!

Thanks for the recs. I may check out your pal. Always wanted to learn to kiteboard. I go to Hawaii once or twice a year and could do some there. In Minnesota, people do it with a snowboard on frozen lakes and just build lots of snow jumps for big air. Seems like it would be fun to learn.
