Crackers deface Ferrari

Defacers turned motor sport fans yesterday in a protest against the controversial decision to gift Michael Schumacher victory at the Austrian Grand Prix.

Ferrari-group.com was defaced by a group called S4t4n1c_Souls after the race with a profane message criticising Ferrari's management for ordering Rubens Barichello, who dominated the race, the make way for Schumacher on the last corner, handing him an undeserved victory.

"BARRICHELO ROX FERRARI SUX," the message reads, in part. Defacement archive Alldas.org records eight attacks against Ferrari in recent months.

Drivers have been handed victory before but the end of the race at the A1 ring was widely has sparked particular criticism because it was seen as a particularly cynical ploy, that went against any notion of sportsmanship in F1.

The Ferrari team have been summoned to appear before the sport's governing body, the FIA (International Automobile Federation), on 26 June. Schumacher may be docked points for Ferrari's tactics during the race, the BBC reports.

What I thought was great was how Schumi handled the situation on the podium, pushing Rubins on the top place and forcing him to take the 1st place trophy. Very moving, and it at least made up some for the stupid ending of that race.

I hope Ferrari stops doing this sort of shit. Each race is important in itself, winning the championships isn't everything. Well, guess it is, but still.....

Ferrari deserves everything they get for this. I think it's shameful...

Boohiss to Ferrari...!!!

This kind of thing pisses me off...totally uncool, even for team mates to do.

FIA should definitely take 4 points away from MS.

In this context it could be correct but most people use cracker for a white hat computer user and hacker for a black hat.

As it was a attack and no message of how they got in was left I would imagine that this was a hacker not a cracker. Also the language and message is also not that of a cracker.

Just so people don't get confused. There is enough mis information flaoting around.

Somehow after this incident the 360 seems a little less appealing.

I think they should suspend him for the next three races.......

At least that way it would keep the championship open for an extra 3 races!!!!!
