So there are people who speed in the rain half way across the globe from where I live, too? Hmm... I thought it was just a SoCal thing.

Speeding in the rain in socal? I must have missed that day. The entire system shuts down completely if it clouds up. Of course, I do like to see all the single car spin offs from bald tires.

I see so many people speeding when it's raining that I tend to avoid driving during the rain. I'm just going off of what I've encountered around SoCal and I am slightly exaggerating because I know it's not very common that it rains around here anyway.

The speed limit on the Autobahn needs to be drastically lowered for fog and rain. 100mph is fine in great conditions, throw in poor visibility and it's disaster. A lot of people don't recognise how much the weather can mess with your car and driving performance.

contrary to belief there are speed limits on the autobahn. Most are around small villages or cities. The more rural parts though its fair game. The post above about driving ettiquite is absolutely correct though. People there actually know what the hell a turn signal is let alone how to use it correctly.

As for the pile up.....yea there will always be that moron that doesnt take into consideration the weather conditions....
