she could probably get medicaid.

people often ignore the fact that a big part of the uninsured can get medicaid, yet for some reason never apply.

LOL -

About 10 years ago when I was a senior in high school, my older brother was teaching in Arizona. We met in Tuscan and we were driving around. We were at a stop light and there was this lady crossing the street.

When she got to the other side, she started screaming profanity at the top of her lungs. She took her shirt completely off (no bra) and started walking away cussing.

I was like, holy crap, that's the coolest thing I've ever seen!

That's 'cause you live in Philly! I used to live in Center City for 2 years. Actually kinda liked it, and miss it. Anyways, there are sooo many crazy people in the city....I remember this old lady with different colored wigs that used to scream at people for no reason. She started chasing after my friend calling him the son of the devil and what not

So here's some background before I start: About a year ago I attended an office happy hour. A girl from the office got really, really drunk and had to be sent home. Another guy and I carried her outside and put her in a cab with another girl from the office. In the process of doing this, a weird old lady pushing a personal shopping cart started yelling at us. She kept yelling that our "friend" was an alcoholic and should be put into counseling. Whatever, no big deal, crazy people love to give their opinions on the street.

So anyway, the girl I am dating and I were walking up the street today when an older woman pushing one of those personal shopping carts approached us on a street corner. She asked if we were registered to vote, to which I replied, "yes, mam." I'm usually not that nice to people on the street, but I was with a girl, so I was nice. She then asked, "Do you want a Kerry pin?" To which I said, "no thank you." She then asked, "are you for Bush?" I said, "I guess" (I'm not really "for" anyone in particular, other than myself). After this, she started shrieking at the top of her lungs, "You're for murder, you're a murderer!" This was in the middle of a busy street here in Philly. I was kind of taken aback and just said, "get a life lady," and walked away. It later hit me that she was the same crazy lady who'd yelled at me a year earlier.

What would you guys do if some crazy old lady yelled at you in the middle of a busy street? I usually don't even talk to people on the street, and I'm not sure why I spoke to her, but I was a little bit shocked at this event. Would you have yelled back? Would you just walk away? I mean, she started yelling about me being a murderer in the middle of a crowded street. . . not exactly something I'd look forward to. If she pulls this again, I'd probably kick over her cart and walk away. . . seriously.
punch her in the mouth?

wow, can't imagine what a jackass you are normally if you think responding to an old lady's question on the street with "yes ma'am" is "that nice."
