Why do you want to reduce your limit? The ratio between your limit and your usage goes into determining your credit score.. the lower the better. I.e. high limit, low balance.

Yeah I hear what you're saying, I'd think that applies to a credit line as well though. Ie. $15k Credit line with $2k balance and a $2k credit card with no balance is no different a Straight $17k limit and $2k balance. No?

Either way, they just said I have access to too much credit as it is so I guess I'll just throw down $25/year and magically they'll reduce my interest rate to 10%. Stupids.
