Default Damn Forest Fires - Part 2

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=144258

As of today:
17,000 hectares on fire, and growing larger by the hour
10,000 people in 3,000 houses have been evacuated (my parents are included in this)
15 houses burned last night
The Army landed this morning to provide more troops for assistance

I could go on with loads more facts, but you can read for yourself:
http://www.silk.fm/silk/firewatch/
http://www.cbc.ca/storyview/MSN/2003/08/22...owna_fire030822

The entire city is on edge...believe me, this is not fun! The views of the fire during the night though are incredible...I don't expect to see anything quite like this again in my lifetime.

Haha. I didn't even realize you were mad at me in your last post.

And yea, my posts were directed towards Redline, not to you.

fire started from a lightning strike. bad luck to live there, but that's the course of nature.

I know in the US it's less of a penalty to steal firewood from someone's house than to scavange it off the forest floor...something that could slow the progression of fires. kinda silly if you ask me.
