Damn! I think I've learned my lesson.
Does this happen to anyone else?
Everytime I slept with a blanket/cover over my head, I woke up with a prolonging headache. This has happened a few times, and I've concluded this is due to the breathing in of carbon dioxide and reduction of oxygen when a cover is over the face, even though I intentionally left a little opening to the side to get more oxygen and fresh air.
Does this happen to anyone or am I being paranoid? I swear, in my case, this is true. It's happened every single time. But now I've learned my lesson.

Actually, it's very light pressure on the head and face, so it has nothing to do with the pressure of the weight. Blankets are breath-through, therefore, there'll always be supply of oxygen and release of CO2, even more so with a small opening to the side. However, I suppose both of those are restricted/decreased, resulting in a huge headache when awaken.

don't you get hot with the blanket over your head??
I'm more of the person who gets tangled in their blankets and has trouble getting out of bed because of it...lol

So none of you have experienced a headache related to this?

I sleep with my pillow over my head, sometimes my blanket too, I don't know why I do it, I just sleep better like that. Sometimes, I do feel a bit oxygen deprived.
I too try to leave a little breathway so I can get some fresh air, but never any headaches.

Wow...every time I think I've heard the goofiest post here, something else comes up!!
I only put my head under the covers when it's REALLY cold and you need to warm up quickly. Amazing how fast your exhaled breath can do that!
I can't sleep with socks on. Also, I can't sleep in a bed that has a wrinkled or not flat bottom sheet. Just can't do it.
