Don't you see that your violent attitude is what creates these monsters? If you have to become a monster to get rid of a monster then you've already lost.

They looked and acted like animals. I would go back and gun them down. After that person in orange took down that girl, the rest acted like wolves and jumped in after.

Really? So you're not just saying you would but that you will. Do you understand how you're portraying yourselves? Its as though you wish for it to happen so you can taste the blood

Prodigy, If I've misunderstood you it's due to your own fault. You've come across as being just as much a monster as the people in this clip in my eyes. Perhaps you're not but you and duboseq have both jumped at the opportunity to make threatening claims and IMO that's a bad reaction and one that leads the world into the trouble we see today.

I agree that the cowards should be punished and I also would do it myself but I sure as hell wouldn't enjoy having to do it. Even once they're gone and their blood is in your hands you'll still be left unsatisfied at the lose of life

A gun isn't the answer. All those kids were cowards. But we have no idea what led up to that scene. Years ago, I was at a scene like that because a friend who had a habit of ripping off car stereos from his fellow high school students was going to pay a guy for some stuff he stole. It was a stupid scene all around, but I went along to make sure he didn't get killed. He took a well-deserved beating from numerous kids he stole from. He had no lasting damage, merely a mess of bruises and a hard-earned lesson. And a broken nose that reminds him not to steal every time he shaves.

I'm not condoning what took place, and it certainly didn't look like there was any legitimite reason for anyone to do what they did. There certainly wasn't any reason to hit the girl at all, much less treat her like that. It looked to me like a juvenile display of ego and a power trip for a loser. I think it's safe to say those people are looking forward to a long life of pain, blaming others for their own miserable excuse for a life. The kid with the camera was pissing his pants. His giggling was an expression of stress his young mind didn't know how to handle.

In the years since the group beating I witnessed, I have more than once put a stop to the same kind of thing simply by getting in the face of the instigator. Too many people are afraid to get hit, but all it takes is being willing to take a punch to shut down a big talking asshole. These people feed on fear, but are scared shitless much of the time themselves, so putting a little more fear in them results in a lot of shouted threats as they back off.

Crying or curling up in a ball just invites blows. They learn it from their dad most of the time - hit someone when they are defenseless, only hit the defenseless. But as soon as they run into someone who shows no fear, they turn tail with a huge show of false bravado. Make it damn clear they will get hit back if they start something, and they look for cover. Don't return with threats, just make it clear as a bell that there will be hell to pay for anyone who hits your friend, and the mob dissolves.

I know it sounds cliche, "stand up to a bully," but seriously, if you identify the leader, show no fear, and make it clear they will have an all day job ahead of them, things sizzle and die rather quickly. Nobody wants to jump in if they risk getting hit, and nobody is going to put their face in line for a punch if their de facto leader is shown up.

FWIW, that kind of thing has been going on since the dawn of time, but the guy posing as the leader always gets far worse in the end. You can't run a pack without getting kicked down when someone else wants to make a statement. You're a target, and nobody follows a guy like that without either wanting to kill him or wanting to be him by killing him. There is a reason Sophocles had Oedipus kill his father - even in his time, the story of a father figure killed or violently usurped by a student or offspring was timeless. Sophocle's play put it forth with a twist, but the essentials were there. In reality, throughout history, it's rarely so subtle. The more tyrannical and paternal the figure, the more violent the demise at the hand of a protege.

That's why I'll be sure to get my son through MMA, or some other disciplined martial art. I want to be sure I provide him with adequate tools to defend himself. Although in a situation like the video, nothing will help short of a gun. It makes me fearful for the crap my baby boy's going to have to deal with as he gets older.

Those fuhking animals need to be shot dead. They're only going to grow up to be gangsters.
This is one of the reasons my father started me in MMA when I went into 6th grade. If the need arises I have no problem being in a fight. That's not to say I go out looking for fights, or that I don't get a little nervous when that situation rears its head, just that I know that I'm prepared and confident in myself when it does happen.

A gun probably wouldn't have even been necessary for that, all you need to do if that happens is get in one punch and run, or just plain run. Just because I know how to fight doesn't mean I will, you best believe I'm smarter than that. In a situation like that, its much better to take the smart route by running, rather than beating one of their asses and having the rest of them jump you. Smarter is always better.

After that, those motherf***ers better watch their ass when they're alone and walk around a corner to meet a baseball bat up close and personal, I won't let them see my face, so they'll live their life crippled and scared. What a shame, karma's a bitch ain't it?

OK, then how do you propose we "win"?
