That's 100% fact right there. I was attacked (without provocation, mind you) in an incident similar to this once, and as they were attacking me I even pointed out that none of them were man enough to take me one-on-one. One of them tried to "man-up", but as soon as I punched him, two of his friends jumped at me again to "even" the odds.

After my incident, I had bruises and cuts that took 2 weeks to heal. But I walked away knowing that I'm more of a man than all eight of my attackers, combined. And I know that they have to live the pathetic life of cowards. I feel sorry for them, and if given the opportunity, I would put them down, just so they don't have to carry on in such a sad way.

 

Look each situation is different but I can tell you one good starting point. Engage your brain first and take the emotion out of it as much as possible and then take action.

 

Are you in politics, by any chance? That sounds just like a politician's answer. Always telling others that they're doing it wrong, yet you can't offer a better solution... only vague guidelines for what "should" happen.

My answer: If they behave like rabid dogs, treat them like rabid dogs. Put them down. There are no emotions in that answer... just logic. It makes sense because it will prevent them from attacking someone else. It shows others that there are consequences for their actions. And it keeps me, Johnny Taxpayer, from having to support them while they rot in jail. Sounds like a Triple-Win to me.

 

Are you in the feds by any chance? I didn't realise that I was under interrogation or in anyway obliged to provide a better solution???

For your own benefit though, if you read between the lines and chose to understand what I had a problem with rather than typing away at the first sign of an opposing view, then you'd find that I don't necessarily disagree with what you're saying but rather what others have said on the topic. Yes there's a difference and it is a very significant one.

I believe that the real criminals deserve to be punished but strongly disagree that everyone within earshot deserves to be shot for their crime of not being brave enough to stand up. Now I think that prodigy and I understand each other now as he stated that I misunderstood what he was representing as his true feelings but then you've taken your argument based off of my first interpretation and in doing so appear to condone killing as many people as you can to exact your revenge?
