The Dangers Of Teleprompters
I was just listening to the 11:00 news: a story about a fire at a plastics factory in Riverside, CA. The reporter was obviously reading from a teleprompter and not listening to what he was reading. He said that the fire broke out a little before 5:00 this evening, producing clouds of smoke "as black as squid sink".
I burst out laughing.
