Default Dating Scene Nightmare...Can a Guy Ever Catch A Break?

Ok, here's the deal....I meet this girl at a local place I go to basically every Friday night a few months back. We hooked up one night (just a kiss good night nothing more) and that was it. I've hung out with her from time to time there but her ex boyfriend is always there and is a real pain in the a$$. Basically, it totally turned me off from her. I'm not so sure that I was totally into her anyway, but she was fun to hang out with and I knew that she was dating someone else now so I figured things had passed.

Here's where things get a little messy....Yesterday i get a call from this girls sister! (whom I've never met) They want me to meet them out for a drink or two. So I meet them and what do you know, her sister is like the girl of my dreams! Attractive, funny, got her life together and is more my age. The one is 45, her sister is 36. I'm 38.We end up at this club where the sister and i have some time to talk by ourselves and we are seriously hitting it off, she's asking me all kinds of questions and flirting big time!...I can tell she's interested in me as well. Scratch that...I know she's interested.

Now what???
I know I shouldn't go there....I just think I'm screwed

You hit the nail on the head. She even has a restraining order against him, but she dosent enforce it. I really think she likes the drama in it all. (Another big turn off)

Well, she called YOU, so you've got that on your side. If you really like her, go for it. The only obstacle in that relationship would have been her sister (the older one), and since she is preoccupied with psycho-stalker types, you should give yourself the opportunity to go out with her sister. Nothing wrong with that.

The only thing I can see happening is that if the older sister really DID like you, but never did anything about it due to her boyfriend. Now that you are hanging out with her younger sister, this may create some jealousy problems. You just never know. Try it and see.

It sounds like you had fun hanging out together, and that is not a bad thing. But if she was really in to you, she'd find some way for you and her to get more serious...or at least show you she was interested!

I say go with the sister! You don't owe the older one anything.
