Angry Deadly Chinese milk...

The latest milk scandal has caused several baby deaths and tens of thousands of bodily injuries to other babies, because of corruption and greed.

Is anybody else so sick and tired of seeing tainted Chinese products? The Chinese government and companies make me sick (no pun intended). The whole world is sick and tired of tainted Chinese products and needs to do something about it; perhaps a worldwide military retaliation? Just kidding. But the world needs to show extreme disapproval to the Chinese government and that we will no longer tolerate tainted products.

I will never buy another Chinese consumable product ever again, such as canned goods, etc. I don't have much of a saying in made-in-China electronics, but other than that, I'll boycott China forever.

it is so cheap though...

We have our fair share of problems...the whole tomato/jalapeno thing this year killed a number of people. China has a lot more people, so when something goes wrong, it goes wrong bigtime (in nominal terms of course, adjusted for population, not so much...).

China is NOT the problem.

WE are the problem.

We should never trade with a country that continues to abuse Human rights.

But we can't...because "WE" are greedy...

WE as in America.

We should trade with countries with human rights abuses.

Trade helps usher in economic development, which takes people out of poverty, which is the catalyst for political change. Everyone has to start somewhere. We were in the same boat in the 1800s/early 1900s. Its a process. We cannot expect them to skip 10 stair steps and end up on our level.

No...CEOs are greedy. Dont count me in the WE part. I search out for made in the USA or other western allied products when I can and only resort to cheap chi-comm goods when its the only choice.

The milk scandal is not a scandal at all. Its just how communism works. Get used to it....its coming here too.

The milk scandal has more to do with greed than communism.

Then I can also claim that the crumbling financial sector is "just how capitalism works." And not greed at all.

Continue with your commie scare, soon enough your paranoia will trick yourself out of the 50's.

Well I was talking to some woman who was telling because of this milk scare she is now buying all her stuff from Honduras, Guatemala, Cambodia, Bangladesh and Vietnam.

Honduras, Guatemala, Cambodia, Bangladesh and Vietnam???? Are those people serious? The policies and sweatshops those way backward countries run, make China look like a fluffy paradise. Picking out products from those countries is bascially hand selecting the worst crap they could possibly buy for their family.

The reason why the vast majority of tainted products come from China is because the vast majority of products come from China, PERIOD. Do the simple math people. If China makes 95% of the worlds low priced exports, it's a freaking no brainer that 95% of the bad exports are going to come from China. Seriously why are people still shocked when a cheap product problem comes from China? Since China freaking makes almost every single low priced product, I'd be shocked if the problem didn't come from China. Where else could it come from considering the rest of the world basically isn't making it? Sure the USA didn't make those lead Mattel toys, but then again find me a modern USA manufactured Mattel toy. And who collected the money made from those Mattel toys? American CEOs. Who set up the factories? Who appointed the quality control managers?

Even with the tiny amount of products America makes, we still have HUGE problems. Our tainted beef supplies are so low quality that much of the rest of the world, including Korea and Japan refuse to accept them. Our recently tainted tomatos or peppers or whatever it was, really wasn't ever properly investigated. Hell we barely make any cheap mass goods here, and we still have problems. China practically makes the vast majority of everything, it's no wonder that the vast majority of problems will occur there. Saying that lead toys come from China or that bad milk comes from China is like saying that unreliable cars have 4 wheels, it's a no brainer. It's a simple matter of probability.

People boycotting products from China and buying from places like Vietnam are just complete and utter idiots that are putting their children at risk. Right now many under dealing companies are moving from China to Vietnam because in Vietnam they can pay their workers less and get away with LESS manufacturer checkpoints. Brilliant move. You really think that the even lower paid workers in those countries will have some high sense of honor and the even weaker governments could do anything to stop corruption? Just remember whatever the corrupt companies do is probably the bad thing for consumers, and currently those companies are flocking out of China and for those even cheaper countries.

At the end of the day, you need to use your brain. If you buy absolute cheap shit, you'll get shit. If you buy milk that's cheaper than every legit brand, guess what, it's probably not legit. It doesn't matter where it's made and by whom, if it's too good to be true it probably is.

China makes absolute crap and it makes some damn good stuff. That cheapo toy plastic phone that chokes your kid is made in China, but so is the Apple Iphone. That unreliable POS Xbox360 Microsoft dares call a gaming system is made in China, but then again so is the PS3. The crappiest PC's are made in China, but then again so are alot of the high end machines..

Buying the cheapest shit is going to cause problems. It doesn't matter who makes it, China, or some other third world country. Those mothers that think if they buy the same random crap but that say made in some other ass backwards country instead of China is saving their kids, they are just the dumbest parents in existence.

"wow this toy is so cheap, and it's not made in China but in Cambodia, SCORE!!!"
